Joseph Beuys

In 2021, Lucrezia De Domizio Durini created the first museum all over the world dedicated to Joseph Beuys' work and thought: the Paradise Museum of Joseph Beuys. The name of the museum is related to Beuys' celebrated project Piantagione Paradise (Paradise Plantation), incorporated in the museum, as well as Beuys' home in Italy, now transformed into a center of research. The new museum joins not only a huge archive, many works by Joseph Beuys - Lucrezia De Domizio was not only collaborator and friend of Beuys over more than fifteen years as she also was the most important collector of his works in Italy and surely in the world. Beyond all this, the museum joins art works of artists from several countries, who in some way were connected with Joseph Beuys' thoughts, giving to the audience an enlarged vision of the universe of the great German master.
