The golden section is the simplest fractal generator. Dead-locked contemporary arts had to take up such a new mathematical tool, and afterwards the attempts to apply it to creation have inspired fundamental science, as M.C. Escher did. The Penrose-lattice will innovate not only on music, graphics and architectural design, but also human thought. It is a tool that unveils the form of nested universe as Ouroboros. In 1992, I invented a 3D six axis self-supporting complex of rods named "STAR CAGE" (Japan Patent Pending). Before this, I have made two other inventions by using the Penrose-lattice. For a long time, I have been searching for the forthcoming architectural forms which Rudolf Steiner anticipated (Steiner, 1957). When I came to know the Penrose-lattice at last (Penrose, 1978; Ogawa, 1985), I was inspired that it was nothing less than the form that I had been looking for. Then I designed two works, using one, two and three-dimensional Penrose-lattice as grid planning. One is a city planning named "self-similar and quasi-periodic city" and the other is the six-dimensional monument "Goetheanum 3". For a such environment, what we call "intelligence" is of a higher dimensional logic beyond dialetics. Penrose-lattice represents not only novel design tools but also can develope a new reference of though. However nature has already used the Penrose-lattice, I believe that it will become an essential architecture sign.
